L. Patrick (Pat) Hassey is Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Allegheny Technologies Incorporated. He became President and CEO on October 1, 2003, and was elected Chairman on May 6, 2004.
Mr. Hassey has 35 years of broad international experience in metals manufacturing, engineered products, marketing and sales. He was Executive Vice-President and a member of the corporate executive committee at Alcoa, Inc. at the time of his early retirement in February 2003. Prior to becoming President and CEO of Allegheny Technologies Incorporated, Mr. Hassey had been working as an outside management consultant to ATI executive management.
Pat is a member of the Board of Ryder System, Inc. and serves on the
Executive Committee of the Allegheny Conference on Community Development.
Mr. Hassey is a graduate of California State University at Long Beach and
attended the University of Southern California MBA Program.
